Where oh where have all the beloved animals gone??? Certainly not posted to eulogize all these “special” and “important” lives. Good enough to get donations, but not important enough to tell people they have passed. Remember Louise the cow and Dan the donkey?? Seems Melissa is good at using a life to pad her pockets, but not so good at posting about their passing. Where there is hiding and omission there is usually SECRETS.
Remember all the posts about "what are you thankful for"?? It was a Melissa lovefest, where all the worker bees professed their love for their queen bee. She must have been feeling bad about herself and they decided they needed to show her some love by stroking her ego and telling her how great she is. God knows narcissists need a good ego stroking and you little people sure delivered. I guess those animals you love so much don't deserve any kind words or posts to eulogize their death. Save all that love and attention for your thirsty leader, we all know those animals take a backseat to what Melissa needs.
She will get on a FB live for an hour to discuss someone talking about how she looks old or not so slim (can you say fishing for compliments), but an animal dies she allegedly cared so deeply about and was giving them their BEST life and she is literal crickets about their passing. The silence in deafening. We know why, because dead they aren’t making her money. She seems to be having a real hard time that people are questioning her lifestyle, care of animals, spending and culling. Most narcissists do have a hard time when it isn’t about them, but she better get used to it because the path to free unquestioned riches is going to get harder and harder. Thank you IRS!!!
We have all heard Melissa claim in her countless live videos that she is SO transparent, actually TOO transparent. Often these FB lives are 1+ hours long which is amazing considering she claims to work 14+ hours a day, 7 days a week. Pretty sure she just likes to look at herself in the camera while playing with that hair and touching her face as if she is deep in thought. We think she is confusing transparency for being shallow, but hey potato/potatoe a certain someone actually looks like that dumpy vegetable.
If that were the case why do the numbers for animal sponsorship constantly go down with NO update of where certain animals are?? We see so many question the whereabouts of thier favorite animal with no response. Here you are a supporter that is invested by your emotions and checkbook in one of these animals and you can’t even get a response. Melissa hypes them up with their stories and how much she is doing so they can have their best lives at the farm… then all of a sudden here comes the vet with the needle. Not a word about their death!! All these people sending money to an animal don’t deserve to know and to mourn?? Typical of selfish Melissa to not care about the people that support her lifestyle and the animals by giving them the respect to know when an animal they loved passed.
Louise...there was no update and we now know she was euthanized…do you know that someone messaged the blog and said that Louise was killed and possibly cut up into steaks??? (There is more to tell, but that is for another blog)
Dan the mule...We know he was euthanized and Melissa tried to keep that secret. Of course she was the only one who was able to care for him. Oh yeah she cared for him all right.
Paige...We have heard she is DEAD yet no updates, not available for sponsorship and no answer to the many comments questioning her whereabouts. So many people LOVED Paige!!
Pearl...We have heard she is DEAD too. Again, Pearl is not listed anywhere, nor has she been posted about or seen, so pretty sure she is gone. Poor Pearl suffering left to linger so Melissa could act like a God and Savior.
Honey...The dog with the cancerous leg from Texas that had to wait weeks to get surgery while Melissa collected donations off her back. Where is she?? She is not listed anywhere on the dog list on the website. Probably gone too.
Melissa recently brought in a new goat and potbelly pig- not one mention or update on those two. Are they dead or alive?? Can you see the pattern?? Let's whore out all these lives for all their worth to get money and then when they aren’t producing the likes, the accolades and the money who cares what happens to them or if they die?? Lives just don’t matter unless they do something for HER.
We have heard she euthanized horses for room recently. She needed places to put new horses she bought from an auction so guess it was out with the old and in with the new.
Something else that is odd that we have been messaged about is where is Adrienne??? Now, some of you have seen the NASTY messages we posted from the Devoted Barn Kool- Aid drinkers. Well, they seem to be under the impression that Adrienne is writing the blog, so they like to send messages to her and some are threatening. Problem is, Adrienne never has seen them because she isn’t here. Wonder who is pushing that narrative…could it be Melissa?? I mean she has to tell people something and we are betting she doesn’t want to tell them the real truth (thanks Kelley!!). So, like she always does she makes anyone who could jeopardize her hoarding farm of horrors a “hater” or enemy of the animals. So much deflection Melissa!!!
And Melissa rallied all her followers to help "save the farm" by donating to raise the 100k needed for the appeal bond. That money will be gone if she loses. Did she ever update how much was raised above and beyond the 100k needed? Nope!! Now her words are "keep the momentum going”. Why wouldn't she update the running total of what was raised?? So much for that transparency huh Melissa??
We got a message that an alleged farmer came and got 2 of the young male cows a few weeks ago. You know the inbred cows that Melissa didn't want anyone to know about. Guess it might be better to possibly sell them to a farmer than keep the evidence around or to get them castrated. Go look there is no listing of these cows being available for adoption. They are more than likely two of the numerous new calves born there because Melissa can't control her cow population by responsibly castrating. Is this actually a vegan farm? Or are the rumors true that these cows are headed to a worse fate?? Without answers and transparency we can only speculate.
What the IRS is most interested in is according to tax returns from 2020 DFAS/DB brought in $279k in adoption fees. $279,000 during the height of a worldwide pandemic??!! That would be 930 animals adopted out at a $300 per adoption fee in 2020. Or close to 78 animals a month. Have you seen 78 happy adoption pics when the world was shut down?? Heck we can't even find 7!! The IRS isn’t stupid DFAS Board, you best buckle in for the probe of all probes.
Right now Melissa is currently begging for sponsorship of the animals. Why would Doodle, Monkey and Strawberry be available for sponsorship when these dogs are PERSONALLY licensed to Melissa?? People are sponsoring Melissa's own animals, guess that nonexistent alimony is exactly that. Someone gotta pay for Big Mama’s bills.
Have you noticed that Melissa tries to correct or refute this blog on the regular??? Venmo used to go to her personally…the blog brought that up and she changed it to a business. She claimed she used her alimony to pay her bills…that stopped when we produced documentation, she got a measly $100 a month in alimony for 3 years, that ended almost 10 years ago. We showed pics of the inside of that dump of a kennel where she keeps the dogs and talked about their obesity…she starts slopping up paint, throws up some garbage contact paper and photo shops dog pictures!!! Who in the hell photo shops dogs?!?! A fake phony catfisher does!!
Transparent is NOT a word we would ever associate with a person like Melissa or an organization such as the Devoted Barn. More like a muddled, cloudy, photo shopped façade.

Let’s pray that 2023 is the year for justice and fiscal accountability. This fraud and enrichment cannot continue for the animals sake.
